Chan Kwee Lin is Asia Pacific Advanced Recycling and Sustainability General Manager for ExxonMobil Asia Pacific Pte Ltd. ExxonMobil, one of the world’s largest publicly traded energy providers and chemical manufacturers, develops and applies next-generation technologies to help safely and responsibly meet the world’s growing needs for energy and high-quality chemical products.
Kwee Lin had various commercial sales and marketing experience with ExxonMobil for the past 25 years.
Most recently he held the position of South Asia Polyethylene Market Development General Manager. Before being appointed this position, he held several roles in Sales, Marketing and operation functions in China, North America and Asia Pacific.
Kwee Lin holds a Master’s degree in Business Management from National University of Singapore.
Rob is the R&D Director for Foods Packaging Sustainable Materials Commercialization at PepsiCo. He leads a global team that is accountable for developing sustainable alternatives and qualifying these materials for all Foods structures. Rob joined PepsiCo in 2009 after spending 18 years at The Dow Chemical Company in technical service and development for Plastics. Rob’s responsibilities include material selection and film development for PepsiCo flexible packaging in addition to ensuring the packaging materials meet PepsiCo’s Global Snacks Group standards for quality and performance and sustainability. Rob has a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from New Mexico State University and holds four patents.
Plastic Energy is a leader in the chemical recycling of end-of-life plastic waste. Since 2019, Ying has led Plastic Energy’s commercial and project activities in Asia, developing a pipeline across the region from the company’s Asian base in Singapore. She also holds the role of Chief Sustainability Officer and is a member of the company’s Senior Management Team with responsibility for the company’s overall sustainability strategy. Ying started her career in the British Government, where she led research in 10 Downing St and served a number of roles working in national transport and international development, and was previously Head of Asia at strategic advisory firm Global Counsel. Ying also has capital markets experience and is a CFA charter holder.
Chen Hu provides assistance to foreign and domestic clients in the area of food, food packaging, and chemical control, in matters related to regulatory compliance in in China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and other Asian countries.
Mr. Hu works closely with government authorities and trade associations in various phases of regulatory development. Mr. Hu has prepared and submitted hundreds of Chinese applications for registration of food packaging materials, food additives, new food ingredients, and new chemical substances. He is experienced in auditing plant facilities for food and food packaging manufacturers.

His extensive knowledge and experience in developing and implementing cutting-edge technologies have led to numerous successful projects and patents in the field of advanced recycling and biofuels.
ChowPin Tan, or CP, promotes the role of Luminy® PLA bioplastics in reaching our environmental goals. Responsible for TotalEnergies Corbion business in Asia Pacific and India, he actively works with the PLA value chain to engage customers, partners, and regulators in the sustainability transition. Experienced in polymer innovation across various functions and industries, CP is a Civil & Environmental engineer graduated from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and completed an MBA at the Manchester Business School. He is currently based in Singapore and has lived and worked across different geographies including Malaysia, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Bangkok.
